As I get ready for the actual 12 days before Christmas and finish the “Twelve Marketers of Christmas Report” I spent some time reflecting back on everything I have done over the past 3 years almost online in regards to marketing.
I am not a superstar by any means, though I have seen success. Just this past week I opened up my gmail to see that I had made a commission for a Mike Filsaime Product, Evergreen Business Systems : http://pwc2.com/EvergreenWebinars which allows you to run your webinars automatically. This is just one of a now building list of affiliate sales I have made.
So I have been putting together this report a bit at a time, when I find a moment between my job, coaching, bringing the kids around and spending time with my wife. As many of us online struggle to make it, we often will step aside and put things off until later. Or we will quite outright. Failure is not an option here. There is no reason why you can’t succeed online.
If you look at any website these days you will find out about some once homeless, broke individual who is now making it. Chances are they busted their humps to get where they are today. There efforts paid off.
One of my favorite sayings is “You get out of it what you put into it!” and I am a firm belieiver that it will work out in the end when you have busted that tail of yours. Now it might not be right away, or even months away, but persistence pays off. My businesses are growing at a steady pace. They might not be taking off at rocket spead, but we need to remember that you should be in it for the marathon and not the sprint.
